Many thanks for confirming that you are a High Net Worth or Sophisticated Investor…
Before we can proceed, we are obliged to ask you to choose one of two pathways with respect to your consideration of the Conviction Life Sciences Company as a potential investment:
Pathway One
You may choose to work directly with representatives of the Conviction Life Sciences Company (CLSC) to consider the opportunity on your own without advice or assistance. This does not carry any additional fees.
Please note, if you choose this pathway, representatives of the Company will market the opportunity to you under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 Promotion of Collective Investment Schemes Exemptions legislation.
If you wish to proceed on that basis, please click here or the button below.
Pathway Two
If you would like assistance with the CLSC offer and application process, you may choose to work with the investment manager Plain English Finance Limited (‘PEFL’).
Please note, PEFL can only assist individuals in connection with a potential investment in CLSC who can correctly be classified as “elective professional” investors. This is to ensure PEFL is only promoting CLSC to appropriately qualified individuals.
To classify you as such, PEFL will need to assess your expertise, experience, and knowledge, to ensure you can make your own investment decisions and understand the risks involved.
Should you choose this pathway, you and PEFL will need to follow the following process:
First – You will need to complete a self-certification process (online) to confirm in writing that you are either a High Net Worth or Sophisticated Investor in the first instance.
Secondly – Thereafter, you and PEFL will need to confirm your suitability to be considered as an “elective professional” investor.
This means that at least two of the following statements must be true:
You must have carried out transactions, in significant size, on the relevant market at an average frequency of 10 per quarter over the previous four quarters;
The size of your financial instrument portfolio, defined as including cash deposits and financial instruments, must exceed EUR 500,000;
You must have worked in the financial sector for at least one year in a professional position, which requires knowledge of the transactions of services envisaged.
To classify you as an “elective professional” investor, PEFL will send you a detailed suitability questionnaire via email which can then be completed and submitted online.
Please note that due to the work-intensive nature of this process, PEFL will levy a fee of £500.
