CATEGORY ONE
Investment Professional
Please choose this category if you consider yourself to be an Investment Professional. You confirm that you have the knowledge, experience and sophistication to properly assess risk and that you have professional experience in matters relating to investments and fall within the definition of "investment professionals" in Article 19(5) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005.
If you are in any doubt as to whether you qualify as an Investment Professional please refer to the definitions found in Article 19 of The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
CATEGORY TWO
High Net Worth Individual (HNW) or Self-Certified Sophisticated Investor (SI)
Please choose this category if you consider yourself to be a high net worth individual. A high net worth investor is someone who has;
Either a regular income of £100,000 or more per annum or,
net assets of £250,000 or more (not including your home or pension).
Or choose this category if you consider yourself to be a sophisticated investor. A sophisticated investor is defined as someone who meets any of the following conditions;
Has worked in private equity or in the provision of finance for small and medium enterprises.
Has been the director of a company with an annual turnover of at least £1 million.
Has made two or more investments in an unlisted company.
Has been a member of a network or syndicate of business angels for more than six months.
